Hello, my name is Sage. I opened Sweet Candy Distro in June of 2004. That makes the distro FIFTEEN years old! The distro has had physical homes in Georgia, Pennsylvania and now happily resides in Olympia, Washington.

On our website, you will find over 200 zine titles, books, and a variety of DIY items. The zine writers we work with are from all over the US and around the globe. They write about a variety of topics, such as mental health, feminism, body image, parenting, food, travel, art, survival, fiction stories, and so much more!

In June 2013, Sweet Candy Distro took a giant leap into the world of publishing. Along with distributing hundreds of zines, we're working with writers to publish their work in book format.
Our mission has always been to support creative people in their writing ventures, and we'll continue to help keep voices loud in the literary community.

there are a ton of awesome things on this website, let's go!

we love testimonials!!

"Ordered and read a couple great zines from Sweet Candy Distro and I want to give a shout out to them. The 'beginner's guide to geocaching' and the 'About my disappearance' were great, plus I liked how the gal who runs the distro wrote some neat personal thank you notes. Now I have some of my own zines being distributed and it's been a pleasure.  I'm a fan of Sweet Candy." - Benjamin Chapman, How to Get Along with Introverts
