Her new duties are working with authors to publish their books, create book layouts, and communicate with our rad printer. She also writes all of the reviews unless otherwise noted. Phew!

TEAM SWEET CANDY DISTRO & PRESS

Bradley is a sorta artistic guy that hails from southern California and has been in the rain of the pacific northwest long enough to probably never leave. He spends his time attempting to exorcise a number of evil demons that plague him relentlessly, listening to music, cooking and cleaning and hanging out with kids, contemplating & sometimes lamenting punk rock, fast cars, and love, and thinking up new & imaginative ways to torment Sage.
He also creates artsy type stuff and lurks happily in the shadows of Sages greatness, while consuming copious amounts of coffee and unrefined sugar. Yum.
You can find him at Subatomic Design Innovations.

our past interns
![]() Kris is a dedicated jack of all trades, as long as those trades are strictly confined to drawing, eating sweets and discussing, at length, the benefits of a world with Hugh Laurie in it. A self-confessed socially awkward pro, she doodles on paper to make zines that she forces on everyone she can. In between nights out and eating jalapeno pizza, she is working on her M.Art degree from Sheffield Hallam University. That's in England, yo. Stalk her Tumblr at kissmyasthma1989.tumblr.com Kris was our intern from September - December 2012. She is dearly missed. Check out Kris & Sage's split zine (Security Check) about the intern/travel experience! ![]() Kelly is currently a senior at The Evergreen State College with a focus on visual art and writing. Originally from Los Angeles, she spends the majority of her time wearing out post-punk LPs, drawing comics for her friends, and searching in vain for the perfect banana board. She is pumped about joining the Sweet Candy team and being exposed to new and exciting zines! Kelly was our intern from April - June 2014. |
![]() Mary is a student finishing up her degree in media and communication studies at the Evergreen State College. She discovered the world of zines as an adolescent and has been “totally stoked” on them since! When she’s not reading zines at coffee shops for hours on end, she spends her time digging for gems at the record store, dancing to Wanda Jackson and performing goofy burlesque acts as ‘Madame Shebam’. She also makes collages and writes about feminism, body positivity, and women in rock n’ roll. Mary was our intern from March - September 2014! Emily is high school student who dreams of becoming a baker. She is constantly going through stacks of books and barely manages to retain all their magnificent information. Emily volunteers at her local library with the Summer Reading Program and the Teen Tech Tutoring Program. She enjoys listening to music that is way too loud and watching Johnny Depp films. Emily is also the owner of her review blog, The Book Adventures of Emily. Emily was our intern during Summer 2016! |
