Forkin' Vegan #3

$1.00
8 pages/Quarter size
by Natalie

Natalie describes Melbourne winters as a mix of sun, rain, warmth, cold and even hail! She gives some times about items that are helpful in this erratic type of weather (plus ways to warm up) along with some comforting vegan recipes, such as Miso Mash, Mac & Cheese, and Roasted Brussel Sprouts!

Natalie has generously offered to donate the funds from this zine to our Manifesto Fundraiser which you can read about here. The money allows us to provide libraries, radical spaces, and resource centers with free zines and books from our catalog.

Purple Sweatpants & Other Recipes
$10.00
36 pages/Half size
by Aaron Romine

This is easily the most beautiful and vibrant cook zine that I have laid my eyes on. Aaron has filled each page with a delicious recipe and gorgeous photographs. The zine is printed on quality paper in full color and has a sewn binding.

Aaron writes, "While the recipes in this book are far from vegan, or even vegetarian, meat is only a small part of most, and replacing it will not change much of the flavor or experience of the dish."

Recipes:

Chicken Coconut Soup
Thai Omelet
Chili Fish Sauce
Pork with Fresh Green Peppercorns
Clams Fried with Chili Paste
Fresh Cucumber Salad
Shrimp Fried With Garlic
Fried Chicken
Pork Fried With Holy Basil
Rice Porridge, BBQ Beef, Sticky Rice, BBQ Dipping Sauce, Green Curry With Chicken, Spicy Squid Salad, Spicy Stir-Fried Water Spinach, Shrimp & Pork Fried Rice ... {sneak peek inside the zine below}
